1 Replies and 3607 Views CR4395 on 50 Hz  3607  1 Started by  kirk kerekes Will the CR4395 function and be durable running on 50 Hz I recognize that the current threshold will probably be inaccurate, but that is not a concern. If it will work on 50 Hz, that would broaden your potential marketplace substantially.

3 Replies and 5953 Views isolation amplifier 5210  5953  3 Started by  Rajesh Kallur hi! i have got CR 5210-10 and CR 5210-300 current transducer, and am building a test stand with DAQ. What I want to know is that when you say supply is 24V - 10 it means that there is an isolation amplifier/voltage regulator between the supply circuit and and the transducer circuit, right I need to make sure about this, as I don't want noise in the transducer output, given that my supply can have around 1V spikes at times. Please clarify this, else I need to think of routing the supply thro...

I am switching 0VDC to the inputs and the 24VDC is connected to the input commons. I belive this means the inputs are sourcing. Which CR9321 current switch would I use How would it turn on with only 0VDC at its input and the other wire going to the plc input

1 Replies and 4594 Views CRD5110 Communications Issues  4594  1 Started by  Juan Mustelier I have been having some issues w/ the CRD5110-300-5 communications both in Windows XP & Windows 7. 1) Windows XP seems to be more reliable than Windows 7 when communicating w/ the CRD5110 device. 2) For some reason the USB to RS-232 to RS-485 to CRD5110 communications links sometimes seems to get jammed up requiring a machine boot, since there is no other way to bring the link back into a working state. Opening & closing the serial port from inside Windows does not revive the link, however, so...

2 Replies and 5442 Views CR5220-300 information  5442  2 Started by  Eyal Braude Dear Sir, We presently use your CR5220-300 transducer. Normally, the current is no more than 250A. Sometimes, for a period of few seconds, the current rises approximately to 1000A. What will be the current output of the transducer when this occurs Thank you. Eyal Braude

2 Replies and 8205 Views CR8401-1000-G  8205  2 Started by  Tony Hodges We are looking for recommendations for a current sense and GFCI coils for our electric vehicle charging station. We use the Fairchild RV4141AN GFCI controller and are looking to understand the Ir rating on the three parts you offer. Does that number represent the maximum current that flows 180° out of phase in both directions through the coil or the maximum net difference that would appear as a result of a ground fault Our product will pass a maximum of 40A AC, but a dead short ground ...

1 Replies and 6261 Views Multiple CR5210 transducers on a single CRPS24VDC Power Supply?  6261  1 Started by  Marc Marshall I'm building a small device to measure several currents with CR5210-2 transducers, and it would be easiest to use a single 24V power supply to power all of them. However, I can't find any information on the max current (or power) that a CRPS24VDC-120 power supply can provide. Is this documented somewhere Alternately, what is the maximum number of CR5210-2 transducers that can be powered by a single CRPS24VDC-120

1 Replies and 5854 Views CR8401-1000-N  5854  1 Started by  Tony Hodges I am interesting in purchasing one of these ground fault current transformers: CR8401-1000-N CR8410-1000-N CR8420-1000-N I have a couple questions though. 1. We want to measure the current imbalance of 60Hz line pair. So I think if we used one of your transformers we would simply put the wire pair through the core and then what we measure out would be proportional to the current difference. I am not sure if the transformers above are all that you have or if they are the best so...

2 Replies and 5234 Views CR4400 Series  5234  2 Started by  Tony Hodges I have a machine that is powered with a 20HP 480V motor that drives a nylon bristle abrasive brush that applies a sanded finish to a product. The nylon bristles are sensitive to pressure, too much pressure causes the bristles to melt, too little pressure does not finish the product. The pressure is regulated by an operator with a hand switch that either raises or lowers the bristles to the product. The operator observes an analog amp gauge and raises or lowers the bristles to try to maintain ...

1 Replies and 5804 Views CR3110-3000  5804  1 Started by  Tony Hodges have been purchasing your CR3110 CTs from Digikey for use in energy monitoring. I like the split core for all of the obvious reasons. Unfortunately the .4' opening is too small for the heavier wire gauges. 2/0, 3/0, 4/0. Do you make any split cores that have a bigger opening I don't want a massive CT as it won't fit into most electrical panels.
