3 Replies and 2082 Views CR series current transformer bandwidth  2082  3 Started by  Matthew Beasley We are looking at an application where we would like to monitor the line frequency harmonics. The fundamental signal would be at 50Hz or 60Hz, but we are interested in the frequency response up to 3kHz. How much phase and amplitude error is there at 3kHz

1 Replies and 2158 Views 603 series details  2158  1 Started by  Evran Zihnioglu I am interested in 603 series split core transformer. I have some questions about the product; 1. What is the difference between 603 and 603D. 2. In the datasheet, it is mentioned that the product can work 50-400Hz frequency range. I will use this transformer where maximum frequency could be 430Hz theoratically. So I am wondering that What will be the attenuation level above 400Hz. Could I use this product in the specified frequency 3. In the datasheet of the product, ...

1 Replies and 2482 Views DC Hall Effect Current Transducer frequency response  2482  1 Started by  Chris Penrose The product I am testing produces 24V switched (PWM) at 20kHz to supply 200A DC current into a 0.12ohm load in series with a 1mH inductor. The current is a 20kHz triangle wave. To calibrate this current I am currently using a 200A / 100mV shunt into a 6.5 digit DMM (mV). I would like to use the CR5210-300 however I am concerned about what it will do with the 20kHz component. (Ideally it will provide a accurate average current). Any ideas

1 Replies and 2447 Views Split Core Transducer Temperature Ratings  2447  1 Started by  Evran Zihnioglu What is the operating temperature limits of 603 and 610 series And also, because these transformers are split core, what is the mechanism to fix the core. I am planning to use them in a modest vibration so the one that has better mechanical integrity is the one that I looking for. Regards.

1 Replies and 2606 Views CR4395 on 50 Hz  2606  1 Started by  kirk kerekes Will the CR4395 function and be durable running on 50 Hz I recognize that the current threshold will probably be inaccurate, but that is not a concern. If it will work on 50 Hz, that would broaden your potential marketplace substantially.

3 Replies and 4744 Views isolation amplifier 5210  4744  3 Started by  Rajesh Kallur hi! i have got CR 5210-10 and CR 5210-300 current transducer, and am building a test stand with DAQ. What I want to know is that when you say supply is 24V - 10 it means that there is an isolation amplifier/voltage regulator between the supply circuit and and the transducer circuit, right I need to make sure about this, as I don't want noise in the transducer output, given that my supply can have around 1V spikes at times. Please clarify this, else I need to think of routing the supply thro...

1 Replies and 3465 Views CRD5110 Communications Issues  3465  1 Started by  Juan Mustelier I have been having some issues w/ the CRD5110-300-5 communications both in Windows XP & Windows 7. 1) Windows XP seems to be more reliable than Windows 7 when communicating w/ the CRD5110 device. 2) For some reason the USB to RS-232 to RS-485 to CRD5110 communications links sometimes seems to get jammed up requiring a machine boot, since there is no other way to bring the link back into a working state. Opening & closing the serial port from inside Windows does not revive the link, however, so...

2 Replies and 3991 Views CR5220-300 information  3991  2 Started by  Eyal Braude Dear Sir, We presently use your CR5220-300 transducer. Normally, the current is no more than 250A. Sometimes, for a period of few seconds, the current rises approximately to 1000A. What will be the current output of the transducer when this occurs Thank you. Eyal Braude
