What to choose CR5411S-300 or CR5211S-300?

    I want to use CR5411S-300 for a battery testing setup (w. NI labView) Is this a good choice for automated measure of charging and discharging, +100ADC to -250ADC?
    The input device (NI) has -10 +10VDC diff. input.

    I read in your pdf info that CR5210/20S Series is "ideal for battery charging applciations" But I don't think this will work good for my setup, with average
    DC value and simulated battery use (rapid changes charge/discharge)?

    Please advice

    Dear Sir,

    The CR5410 Series is used for servo type loops or measuring changing waveforms up to 5 Khz and seeing the exact waveform.

    The CR5210 Series is the better choice for charge/discharge battery systems. Choose voltage output CR5211 Series which is bipolar.

    Thanks, I would like to now the sampling time for Average measure on the CR52XX series. And does it work with +/- current (charge/discharge) specs. says DC only?

    I do 1k sample/sec. and saving avarage every 1sec. in Labview, thats why I think the CR54XX is best with "Raw" data?

    I have to many current transdusers laying around, so I would like to get the right one this time......

    Dear Sir,

    If you have a special averaging routine, than the raw instantaneous data the CR5400 series might be the better choice. The CR5210 has internal filtering with approximately 250 ms settling time to give average DC current through the hole, thus it is already analog averaged.
