About 6 months ago we installed a CR4220-400 and the FLC of the motor it is on is 130A (checked with a handheld ampmeter) but the HMI display reads up to 424A. We have checked out the analog input card and it is ok and checked and double checked the ratio for the 4-20ma signal and it is ok.
This CR4220 is on the motor side of a soft start instead of an across the line starter, we just wanted to know if this might be causing any problems before we replace the CR4220. Any advice? Thanks

    Dear Sir,

Please place in series a resistor within the 4-20 mA loop from the CR4220 and measure the voltage drop across the resistor, we recommend using a 10 ohm resistor, to verify the current coming from the CR4220 is incorrect.
If it is incorrect please contact me at tonyh@crmagnetics.com and i will issue an RMA to bring the units back here for evaluation.

    Thank you for your business.
