Question 1: I designed your CR9580-10-M into my system without realizing the product has such a long lead time for delivery, and I am still waiting on my first unit delivery to test and validate almost one month after I ordered it. The non-mounting case version CR9580-10 has a much shorter lead time. Does this part have just a smooth bottom, DIN rail, or ??? How do people mount these?

Question 2: I plan to use the CR9580 with the output connected via an addressable switch that is connected to a DMM only when I want to specifically measure the current. The single DMM has to be used to measure other values in my system too. Will leaving the output of the CR9580 unconnected while current is flowing possibly cause any damage to the CR9580 or my device?

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in our product lines.

    1) Did you order thru a distributor? I do not see you ordering direct from us. The lead-times should be the same depending on whether or not the distributor stocks the product. The bottom of the CR9580-10 is smooth and we have seen customers use the provided wire tie, Velcro, or double stick tape on the bottom to secure it.

    2) This will not damage the CR9580.
