    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in our product lines. CR Magnetics can provide many different styles of products that can provide switch legs that are active while your pump is running. You can then choose your desired way to interface with the human element i.e. audio, visual, computer. Please let us know the HP and voltage of the sump pump motor and we can recommend a product.

Also send by email: Thank you Sir for your quick response. The pump is a standard Homedepot - Rigid brand, 1/2 HP, 110V AC pump. I don't know what the current draw is. I will like an audio alert - nothing too loud or alarming becuase it should be a fairly frequent occurance.

Does anyone have knowledge of specifying a kW rating or flow rate for a fire fighting lift, sump pump ?

I have checked various documents but none can give a definative answer.

    Thanks

Hi... backflow protection must be provided by the installer to meet the requirements of the local
plumbing code or the requirements of the local water authority. As per the Uniform Plumbing Code and per
the Plumbing Codes of some states, including the State of Michigan, installation of this product requires the use of
    an RPZ backflow protection device.
