    Hi,
We are facing problem using CR4395.The problem is with the tripping time. The part no of the current sensing relay that we are using is
    CR4395-LH-120-110-B-CD-ELR-I.
The tripping time that we set is usually around 3 or 4 seconds, but due to motor inrush current the relay trips immediately. Our doubt now is, whether the tripping time dial, provided in the model is for setting the inhibit time or the delay for the relay to actuate in case of fault or is common for both. Or is it that, we are missing out on anything? please advice. It would be better if you can just explain/tell us about this relay characteristic or operational function, so we can find a solution to our problem. Thanks

    Dear Valued Customer,

The CR4395 is designed to wait the selected delay time before tripping the contacts. The LED will light signifying the current sense level has exceeded the setpoint. The delay then begins, and when the delay times out, the contacts are activated. Please note that the LH device will latch after the delay times out, and the power to the device must be interrupted for at least 0.5 seconds to properly reset all functions. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
