We purchased the CR6260-500-5 to monitor the power of a 230V/3Ph motor with a power factor of 74%. I'm trying to determine the range of the 4-20ma output of the transducer. I'm making the assumption that 4ma (zero) is wattage at 0vac/0amps and 20ma (span) is wattage at 500vac/5amps. Then I'm thinking that the power factor would be applied in our DCS. Dear Sir, The full scale output of the CR6260 will represent the amount of real power being used when 500 VAC and 5 amps AAC are being supplied to a PURELY RESISTIVE LOAD. The output will change and be accurate for different power factors, and thus is a measurement of the amount of real power that is being used in the load.
