I need to detect the run state (on/off) of a three phase motor with a microprocessor with pins rated at 3.3v max.

I have a slight preference for a digital signal but an analog signal is fine if it is 0-3.3v with some threshold meaning on.

What is the simplest and most economical (I need many of these) way to do this with a CR product - a split core device would be great but I can make do with a solid core.

    Thanks!

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in our product lines. We offer several types of Voltage transducers both digital and analog. The most economical means is analog. In order to provide the correct part number I need to know the type of sine wave the motor is outputting? You may call me at 636-343-8518 to discuss.

    Hello,

I saw the post and I have the same issue. I need to monitor the on/off state of a three phase motor operating at 220VAC or 440 VAC, I'll prefer a digital output since the microcontroller accepts up to 30 VDC.

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for the interest in our product lines. Are you wanting to monitor the current, voltage or both? The Data Stream Series in Transducers have a digital output. Thank you for the opportunity and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello, thankyou for your answer. I'm interested in monitoring the on/off state of the motor. It would be easier to monitor current because I don't need to make electrical connections and don't have to worry about using transformers for 220 or 440.

    Dear Sir,

Our CRD6100 Series has a digital output but you need to order our CR5210 Series with it. I have attached both catalog pages to this email. Please let me know if this is what you are interested in?
