I am currently using the precision rectifier circuit found in the "Precision Rectifier Circuit for CT Signal Conditioning" app note. I am using this in my application to monitor motor current using a CR3110-3000 current transformer across a 7.5 ohm burden resistor. I now need to monitor current to non-linear loads (e.g., from a VFD) and hence need to get a true RMS value. Is there a similar circuit recommendation for non linear applications that allows me to still use the same CT?
