I've got a DC load design that I'm adding an AC voltage to. The AC doesn't cross zero so I have to add a DC offset. I need to measure total current and the CT I'm using just isn't delivering the correct AC value. I'm convinced the DC component of the signal is skewing the RMS value somehow. I see that CR makes CTs that are DC immune which is exactly what I need. Question is, in a nutshell how does that work? Does the CT simply ignore the DC component somehow? Thank you, Randy
